The new landlord Russell has recently taken over this well known village pub with its stunning views of the windmill and rolling hills.

Having recently taken on Aaron Sheriff, the new head chef, the emphasis now is very much on food. We have a menu catering for all moods and appetites from a light lunchtime menu, to a full restaurant menu at lunchtime and in the evening.

The large, sunny beer garden is an ideal place for wedding receptions, corporate events or just a nice lunch on a warm summer's day. During the winter, the log fire and some hearty meals are the ideal way to spend those long nights with en-suite accomodation available at very reasonable rates.

We are open for food every lunchtime and evening during the week and all day Saturday and Sunday.
