Below is a selection of some of our recent additions
to the cellar.
Red Wines
L'Egide Rouge, Vin de Pays d'Oc
From the South of France, this house red has a soft spice on the
nose and soft, weet, ripe fruit
Coldridge Shiraz, Cabernet. Australia
A soft fruity red with ripe berry fruit and spicey flavours in an
easy drinking style
Argento Malbec 2004
A ripe bramble nose, an intense, rich palate with a smooth balance between
oak and crispness
Baron de Ivendi Rioja 1999
A clean, attractive wine with plum and cherry fruit. The excellent
balance and finish makes this a lovely, traditional light style Rioja
Les Brulieres de Beychevelle Haut Medoc 2000
Aged and bottled at Chateau Beychevelle. Medium to full bodied in
style with rich, plummy berried fruit aromas as well as excellent balance,
structure and length
Gevrey Chambertin 'Clos de Meixvelles' Domain Pierre
Getin 2000
Bold red fruit nose, dominated by redcurrant and strawberry. This
is round, full and powerful on the palate with smokey, rich spices and
cherry aroma, supple and well structured
White Wines
L'Egide Blanc, Vin de Pays d'Oc
Vin de pays de l'herault. South of France, this house white is a fresh,
fruity wine. On the palate it is both aromatic and refreshing, a delightful
aperitif
Cuvee Elise
This medium dry house wine offers a fresh aromatic bouquet, followed by
clean, elegant fruit driven flavours
Parral Chenin Chardonnay 2004. Argentina
Pale straw, quite flowery with Chenin fruits, lifted by buttery Chardonnay
aromas
Pinot Grigio IGT Veneto Oggi. Italian
Floral tones on the nose. A full bodied, well structured wine with strong,
refreshing citrus flavours
Domain Vacheran Sancerre 2003/04
Perhaps the best known name in Sancerre. Flowery, fragrant nose full of
gooseberries and musk. SLightly dry on the palate, intense flavour and
long in the mouth
Meursault, Henri de Villamont 2001/02.
Burgundy, France
This wine offers buttery fruit, a fine palate and soft nutty finish
